You're using the e-sata port right? What are you trying to charge? I don't think there are any powershare options in the BIOS.

Just small stuff like my iPhone. It works perfectly fine on my M11x but not my 3 day old M15x.

Does the e-sata port work normally when you connect a device while Windows is running? Does windows detect the device? There could be a problem with the Audio/E-sata daughter board on your laptop.

According to the manual, if you turn off your pc while the device is charging, it will stop charging. You then need to unplug and plug it back in.

    I have the same issue.
I used powershare without any issues in A08 but now it doesn't seem to work.
If my memory serves me right, the laptop doesn't need to be plugged in for this feature to work. Is that right?
I unplug and plug it back in after I shut the system down to no avail. Anyone else with this issue?
