So my m15x battery is done for.
It never lasted long as battery life with this laptop isn't great to begin with. But a few months ago I got that little notification bottom right of the screen on the battery icon saying there was something wrong with my battery. Ever since I can get max maybe 10-15mins out of my laptop unplugged before it drains and shuts down. And it seems to be getting worse. Now I noticed the last couple times I turned it on I get that loud beep from the computer and the black screen listing all my components I think and stating the battery is broken or something like that. I then have to hit F1 to continue to boot.
How did my battery go down hill so fast? I only got the laptop about 2 years ago. And if I need to buy a new one where is the best place to get one?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can get it by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. The degrade with the time. Here are some tips so that this does not happen again.

Heat is always the biggest killer over the long term.

    Thanks for your help guys.
When I power on my laptop it says "the battery has expired permanent failure, needs to be replaced"
Just making sure, this simply means the battery is defective now and has run it's course right? This is no indication of something not working correctly from the motherboard right?

Also is it normal that the battery is that shot after just 2 years?
