What is the best way to clean screen? There are some small dust spots on screen that are hard to see but when the screen is reflected from light you can clearly see them, plus they are hard to get rid of.

Yeah I clean all of my systems screens with a very slightly damp microfiber cloth.

There are screen cleaning solutions that you can buy and all but a decent microfiber cloth and just a very little water tend to give you as good a result as anything :)

I noticed that there has been appearing something like a crust over my screen, specifically over the mousepad, spacebar and touch panel areas. I'm always cleaning my screen and my whole lap (I'm kind of a cleaning freak in what my m15x regards), so I doubt that it was some kind of filth crust. I'm thinking that maybe it's some kind of scratches? I have the 2 rubber bumpers, so the screen doesn't touch the bottom. Does anyone has the same issue? I have tried cleaning it with alcohol and q-tips, lens spray and microfiber, but nothing works.

This is a known problem, I have it too. And believe me when I say this: I baby the CRAP out of my electronics, so I really don't understand it. I posted a whole thread on it, pretty much pointing out that it doesn't really make sense for a supposedly glass screen to be getting little marks like this. I wish I could offer some advice, but I've been looking for some myself and have not found any solutions. The only real solution seems to be to call Dell and beg for a screen replacement, then never close your laptop without putting a cloth between the screen and keyboard. It's a shame, that's the one big complaint I have about this thing. Other than that it's a fantastic computer.

Ya my M15x after a tech replaced the graphics card has tiny little dents at the top of the screen. Right in the google chrome URL bar and ever time I see them I die a little inside. So he must've pressed down on it while replacing parts what a shame. Anyway for cleaning mine I generally will spray a microfiber cloth (just a couple sprays) with like a glasses/ lens cleaning solution (also shows tvs and computers on the bottle so hopefully is ok) than after the initial wipe down with the slightly moist cloth I use a dry one and finish it off cause I find there will be little streaks.

I use the cleaner wipes for glasses that comes in individual packages. I use them for my glasses, laptops, cell phones, etc. They are made not to scratch...and are pre-moistened with cleaner.
