I recently needed to rebuild my AW 15X from ground up. Used Win 7 64 bit.
Thanks to all that have posted their fixes and work arounds, I now have a AW Laptop working better now than when I got it new.
Though, I am still not able to get the camera to work 24/7, I currently switch between the Creative drivers and windows drivers to make it the camera work. Any clues?

Again many thanks to all of you!

Give us a bit more about the symptoms of the camera not working.

What actually happens? Is it visible in device manager when 'not working' or is it an image quality issue?

Camera shows in device manager. Switching between drivers, (creative labs and MS generic) then restarting PC, allows the camera to work till next restart or shut down.
