Hi forums im pretty new here but have a few questions. I have my M15x and it is on th a02 bios which are really outdated and the mousepad sucks. I need to upgrade the bios to atleast a08 to get this fixed. Well I need a noob friendly Tutorial on how to boot from a flashdrive. Like step by step starting with downloading the bios. Also can I go from a02 directly to a09 or to I have to go a02 to a03 to a04 to a05 ect..

Copy and pasting a tutorial is fine with me and a video is really nice!
Thanks and if you have any question just ask!

    Hello, Yakob, welcome to NBR.

You can flash directly A09 version.
    Download it here:
Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

Choose the R293649.exe, to run it in Windows. Just download it, run it and follow the on screen instructions.

    Nothing more simple than this.

    Hi there,
Got the M15X for a while now
Got 920xm CPU and AMD 6970m thanx to your advice.
    It works great thanx again.

But I never improved my Bios, still at 01.
Everything seems to work perfectly fine, some time to time some lighting doesn't turn off and things like that but no bid deal...

    Should I upgrade my BIOS.....???
Or leave it like this and be happy.

    Thanx for any answer.

There's no harm in upgtading it. Newer versions fix a few things and it only takes a couple of minutes.
