I went into the bios today to check what version I am running and saw that under the "performance" tab, it says turbo boost disabled. I would think that means the cpu wasn't running on turbo before? I am using a 920xm.

Now that I enabled it, how do I check if it's really working, as in turbo boost ghz? Thanks!

Use a program like CPU-Z to see what the clock speed is at. You will need to stress the cpu with something.(I use intel burn test)

Should be 2.26Ghz for 3/4 cores, 3.06Ghz for 2 cores and 3.20Ghz for 1 core fully stressed.

If you end up using intel burn test, the "standard" setting should be fine to see if turbo is working or not.
