The M15x has audio problems, so its not just ur unit. I get poppin noises, and stutters when i jump ahead in videos. Make sure ur sound drivers are up to date. Other than that i believe there is not much else you can do.

Is there any way to prevent this stutter/popping issue?
I'm kind of scared... I don't have it now... but, when will start?

I had audio popping on my acer which was only ever resolved by chaging the frequency under the audio properties found in the control panel.

You can set to CD quailty DVD ect ect, if i recall i set it to cd Quality which fixed it.
