I downloaded the latest audio driver for my M15x as it otherwise only had the basic windows mixer, The install wizard ran fine and then it asked me to restart the computer. Once I restarted nothing else happened and my IDT wasnt running, just the same windows mixer as before. When I search for where the IDT is kept I can start it and then it will run, but surely it should start by itself when I turn on the system?

Eitherway I'm not particuarly impressed with it and the Real Tek software I have on my other Dells has alot more options. Does anyone use anything other than the IDT download from the Dell site?

    Are you using this driver?

I'm using that driver, and I don't have any special Audio Mixer panel.

not sure if I am using that specific driver now, I have tried a few. They all result in there being an IDT application that I can run and it gives me EQ options and presets etc but it doesn't automatically run on startup and it doesnt minimise down into the taskbar like the Realtek drivers i have on other Dells.

I'm now using the driver for the M17x and everything seems to be working for me now, I was confused that the driver wasnt shown to be working in the task bar, but I have found it is still EQing the sound anyway

@Mr Pras, thanks for the feedback about that driver.
I was going to ask if that works :)
