These drivers fixed my crashing problem for BF3 I think! I was able to play through 40 minutes nonstop, which is a first. I'll keep testing, but just putting this out there for others who can't seem to find a fix. Thanks a lot Rev!

thanks for the heads up. i was thinking it's the driver that's been causing the issue. gonna check on this and run some tests.

anyways is it wrong that my GPU-Z doesn't show VDDC in the sensor tab ?

Version 0.5.5 of GPU-Z doesn't report VDDC for the AMD cards, at least for the 6900 Series. The problem appears to be a GPU-Z glitch. At first the recent drivers were suspected, but HWMonitor continues to read VDDC for AMD cards, so that's not it. Still works for the 580M, so the function is still there. GPU-Z v0.5.4 still works for the 6970/6990M cards.

so the problem is the GPU-Z itself right ? but it's strange that it shows VDDC when i flash sapphire Vbios instead of dell. still it shows 0.00 VDDC all the time

You referring to game crashing or m15x power shutdowns?

No matter what i do it just wont install the drivers, it goes through the whole process but theres no black screen and doesnt ask to restart. On restart it just says standard vga driver. Had this same problem with 11.10

tyvm Rev, the cat 11.10 drivers were shocking to say the least. never saw such a short life cycle either... they knew it was bad lol.

hopefully this one is able to run Rage without the entire screen turning blue.

Install the driver manually from device manager, choose update driver then browse my computer. Locate the unpacked driver in ATI folder , ATI\packages\drivers. Last install control centre and other relevant stuff manually from the folder. This is what I did .

Same for me and no drivers directory or inf files in the packages folder when I downloaded from AMD's website. Strange but the www2 linked driver from first post does have the drivers in it.
