    So I installed command center the for the first time since I had to have the harddrive replaced on the computer. I downloaded it from Dells website and did not use the resource CD. I installed it, and the Aliensense works but command center does not. I try to make a theme and hit apply but nothing happens. Everything is enabled. I get all sorts of errors from the application:

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I have no idea what to do. The only reason I really wanted it was to get the touch buttons working again so I could make sure that stealth mode is off to hopefully solve another issue. But the touch buttons won't work either. To be honest I really really regret my decision in purchasing this laptop. Like 4 thousand dollars and it has only given me problems. Can anyone help?

    I have had a similar problem. It seems like your command center loads, but generates errors when you try to apply the changes.

    I once had a problem that the command center did not load at all and gave me error messages when I tried to open it. What I did to solve the problem was a full powerdrain.

    To do a full powerdrain, follow these steps:
    1: remove battery
    2: remove coincell battery from the motherboard
    3: hold the start button for 10-15 secs.
    4: put back the batteries and startup the computer.

    Doing this will reset the bios settings, so any problem that is bios related will be solved.

    I am not sure if this will work for your problem as it is a bit different from the problem I had, but it is worth a try.

    Cheers.

    That worked! Thank you :) Now the other problem though is the touch buttons still don't work. Well, they kinda work. The volume control is functional, but it doesn't show up on the screen when I use it. Also, the steal mode button doesn't work when I press it. Any other advice?

    Reinstall the OSD application ( here) and see if that solves your problem.

    It worked :) Now, how do I know if stealth mode is on or off?

    Nevermind, I figured it out. I think I just solved all of my problems. With stealth mode off, my starcraft is no longer lagging. I am so happy!

    Great! Glad to hear it.
    You may want to consider Wattos' Stealth Mode Indicator. It comes in handy, trust me!
