    Hey,

I was checking up HWinfo and it only shows two of my cores, it doesn't show the other two. What's wrong here?

    Thanks in advance.

did you manually set the number of cores in msconfig?
    if so, that's your problem

    open msconfig
(type it in the start menu and press enter)

open the boot tab and click "advanced options..."
ensure that the "number of processors" is not ticked
    hit ok and restart

another option is to set it to 8 (not 4) the reason for this is because intel has "hyperthreading" where each core is seen as 2 processors.

*edit* and yes the temps seem a little high, although you seem to be using the cpu at the time of screenshot.
the max temp achieved in the screenshot is well below recommeded max. possibly just clean out the vents, might be a little dusty.

    Thanks guys, you're right.
And about the heat, yea I know. I've been having the problem for a while, not sure if the heatsink is the problem, but I know for a fact that the thermal paste dried out, and getting thermal paste is impossible at my current location. Going to have to wait 23 days to buy me some MX-4 or ICDiamond.
