Can the m15x use the Crucial M4?

    Here is link:
Newegg.com - Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

I'd really like to upgrade from this samsung ssd i bought the computer with as the space is completely maxed out and i've had to bring several external drives in ( 1 network, 1 usb 2 connected to laptop ) to make sure I have ample space for everything else outside of games, ms office, etc. Had to move WoW, Diablo 3 beta, Wow MoP Beta, and Guild Wars 2 beta to the USB drive because the internal drive is just packed.

Thanks for answering in advance. I know, it's prob a newb question, but blah lol.

A lot of people prefer the M4, because it is reliable, beware of sdd`s that use sandforce controllers as they can bsod your notebook, have a read of the thread below.

Considering your only gonna be able to get SATA II speeds, the SATA III speeds don't matter. Crucial makes really reliable drives unlike anything running a sand-force controller. +1 for the crucial. ;)

The Crucial M4's are excellent SSD's. It's true they are not as fast as some of the newest drives, but they remain one of the top-rated SSD's based on quality, reliability and value. And they're not slow. The first CDM set is for SATA 3, the other for SATA 2, using the same 256GB M4. No SSD's are going to be able to operate much faster because of the SATA mode/port limitatiions. Great drives, but be sure to update the firmware (a very easy process).
