    DVD Drive Rejecting DVDs

    I have a strange problem at the moment. The DVD drive that I have reads CDs and DVDs just fine, although, it tends to not read a varied amount of DVDs. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but I've had my DVD drive replaced before because of a complete read failure.

    My BIOS are up-to-date, along with all the security updates with Windows, but for some reason there are just a select few DVDs it just doens't want to read. Any suggestions?

    4GB RAM
    Geforce GTX 260M
    BIOS A09

    As for the DVD drive in my laptop, the only thing I know about it is the hardware ID from the device manager:
