Why don't you go with nvidia's latest 290.36 from their website?

    cause im chicken?

anyway I installed it. the real answer above was some of the apps I was using had open gl fits with nvidia and drives after 260.xx but that was application specific and have hence been updated. The Dell-beta (which has notes in dealing with BF3 issues?) seems ok so far, and FPS in open GL apps 'seems' better, I say that since its in environments like opensim which have too many variables to say its better or not. as long as it isnt crashing IM happy really, probably evident from me still using 254.99 lol

Get the drivers from Nvidia site! Those are 100% safe.
