    I am having a hard time deciding from the million color combos on what to go for.

    So, if you guys post some screen shots here, I will pick a winner and send a free prize, which will be a new 2.5 inch 250GB 7200 RPM HDD AND I will also have the nameplate engraved "designed by ____ " with your username (if Dell lets me order another one).

    Do you have any colors you prefer? I, myself is a sucker for some black and orange but there are alot of peoplle who doesn't like those one bit :)

    Not really. I like everything to be matchable though so no pink, green, and orange or some garbage like that. lol

    Mandrake had a very nice design that was white and looked very classy.

    Someone else had an understated black design with cherry red exhaust vents that looked pretty sweet.

    Yeah the second one is my favorite as well. It's got the nice black to hide those random scratches and abrasisons, but just enough blue accent.

    I'm not too big a fan of colorful laptops so I picked what I thought would look professional, sleek and appealing. I'll add a few more after.

    At the moment, the Ferrari/Smoke White is the most interesting IMO.

    I like the orange joker. One thing to consider is how will it look with the different lighting options. Orange lights with that case would look awesome. Don't know how well it would look with the other colors. Time for some PS guru's to step in.

    Two more. I'm liking having the majority a nice stealthy black, with just the accents colored. That way it'll work with any lighting setup...well white and black will at least

    Yeah the Steel w/blue one looks pretty good. I wish I knew what the steel color really looks like. Would have been nice if they had some pictures of metal with these different paints on them to give us a more realistic idea of what the finished product would really look like.

    The white is all Smoke White, the Lid, Screen and grills are Jet Black, and the Keyboard and Touchpad are Carbon Black.

    I would do the buttons a different color than the rest (I know white would look cool). Baby blue mouse buttons, perhaps?

    Was that just white gloss or matte? Or was it pearl? I asked colorware about the pearl and it is what I thought - color changing paint!

    Love that kind of paint but not sure if the regular glossy white would look better....

    Seeing it is key. Maybe if someone here has used their service in the past they can give a bias opinion.

    The lid should be gloss. You'll be cleaning it anyway since it's white. The bottom I'm not so sure. I would need to see it.

    and gloss would just look more dirty when you've got palms resting on it, i'd just go with the soft touch so it won't look so much like a fingerprint magnet

    I was thinking keeping all the black in drake's setup (parts you touch often like palmrest etc) matte and the lid and bottom glossy.

    Guess I have a few more weeks to decide on that, though :)
