1 year into using this m15 of mine, dell already sent over 10technicians over 7-8 occasions, to fix problems such as overheating, replacing mobo, replacing gpu and etc.
As frustrated I am right now with this rig of mine, another problem came out just now. I'm having this problem right now for my m15x.. Whenever I use google chrome a system notification will pop up in the the bottom right of my screen saying :
    '' Corrupt disk - chrome.exe ''
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the Chkdsk utility on the Volume C:''

I've right clicked the C: drive on My computer --> OS(C :) --> Properties --> Tools --> Error checking and scheduled a disk check next run.

After restarting my computer, I'm stuck at the Chkdsk screen. Normally it would start counting down from 10seconds, and if I dont press anything a scan will continue. But in this case, I left the comp runing without pressing any buttons and it always stucks at 1 second. And I after to force shut-down and try again.

It seems that I'm only able to skip the test while pressing during the count down, but I get stuck if i dont press anything.
So the main issue here is how do i fix the corrupt disk/error?

    Thanks in advance.

Note the time at the bottom line. I always get stuck at 1second.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen instances that it will solve the Chkdsk problem.

If you really want to invest some time, upgrade your Windows 7 to Windows 7 SP1. The Service Pack 1 contains this hotfix. Please note that this hotfix was not released through Windows Update.

also if your running a regular hdd, it worth it to defrag it every once in awhile.

have you tried reinstalling chrome again?

Actually you can run chkdsk at cmd with the /f parameter.
