Okay so I started out with everything stock on my Alienware M15X which is GT 260m graphics card, i3 dual core processor, 4 Gigs of RAM, standard disk drive! I have recently upgraded it to the GTX 460M graphics card, i7 720QM quad core processor, 8 Gigs of RAM, an now I have decided to upgrade my disk drive to something more.. Blu ray ish :) so I had bought a 90$ Blu ray SATA DVD slot it looked to be in new condition! now I was replacing because when I had bought this machine off a friend years ago the disk drive was broken an didn't read at all in "my computer" it still has the drivers installed for it I think because it says "standard disk drives" so after I got my new Blu ray disk drive I immediately installed it no problem everything went smoothly! but when I go to my computer or put in a Blu ray disk it does not show up or read that there's even any disk drive! (Cannot try a regular disk or anything else cause I don't really know how to eject disks without right clicking the disk drive in my computer) I don't know much about Alienwares hotkeys ;P If anyone knows what exactly is wrong please share ! would be of great help so please an thank you to whoever does!

I think the bluray driver is different to regular dvd. Check dell drivers on their site. Also on the media bar (top right above keyboard) there is an eject button. Lights need to be on.
