    Hi,

Ive got a couple of questions related to display. If there's any need to know my systems specs, it is attached to my profile. First, is it possible to upgrade my screen to 1080p? ATM, Ive only got a 900p one. I assume there's a difference in size, 1080p being a bit more larger.

Second, is it possible to have 3D display with the M15x? I again assume that it would need a new graphics card and a pair of 3D glasses.

You can upgrade to the 1080p screen yourself, look for a user name Villosa he has tutorials for upgrading the screen. I believe he made his RGB which is a step up from just a regular 1080p. It is a delicate process and does require a lot of work and patience. I believe you will also end up destroying your current 900p screen in the process. I don't think anyone has done 3D on the M15x, but considering the gtx 560m can power the 3d. It could be feasible but that just a guess.

Nice info. Im pretty sure there would be AMD cards that support 3D too, right?

AMD GPUs do not support passive 3D

Ive seen the guide from Villosa's profile nevertheless, thanks for pointing it out. I guess my questions are solved. Thanks to t_man too.
