Hey guys, wondering what the best setup would be for a pair of dual monitors on the m15x. I'd like to plug in via HDMI. So I would need to get a splitter of some kind? I've never dealt with anything like this before so I'm not sure what works and what doesn't. Currently, all I have is a display port to HDMI cable. What would be the best way to successfully setup dual monitors?

    Thanks!

As the M15x only have 1 displayport out, you will be able to only use one external monitor and the proper Alienware screen.

I have a BenQ 22" monitor connected via displayport and it works great. The only issue I noticed is that when I'm playing on games at 1080p (as my alienware screen is 900p) I get worst performance compared to people with same configuration but with the build in 1080 screen. Really don't know if it could be the use of an external monitor.

You can run the second screen off of the VGA output if you want. It runs slightly blurrier on high resolution screens, but it's still more than usable.

    The other alternative is this.

I see. Thankyou both for your help. I think I'll just use one external monitor and mount it above my laptop.

    Cheers! :D
