    hi guys,
I've recently bought a Samsung LED TV that I also use as an additional monitor for my M15x. However, I have an issue where occasionally (a few times a day) the tv seems to 'reset', going dark for a second and then turning on again, showing the TVs current input in the top left corner, as if I had tried to change the input.

    current setup:
Samsung UA27D5000NM using HDMI and display port-HDMI adapter provided with the computer

    M15x with 260M

TV is set up as monitor 2, the laptop as 1.

    Any input would be appreciated,
    thanks

I'd start with swapping the HDMI cable, see if you can borrow a cable from another device. When it comes down to it, HDMI cables are much the same. The only difference is the connectors, a higher quality connection that sits snuggly without moving at both ends is likely to solve your problem.

Don't spend too much, I'd say buy the next line up from the lowest cost, but never spend the top price, it's just not worth it!
