Like 3 months after I got my screen replaced for significant amounts of dust under the screen, I get more dust under the top right corner. What's up with these M15x screens getting dust under a sealed unit? /ocd

Hey :) I've got a grain of dust under the screen aswell. Its just around the middle. How much dust should I accept before I call for a replacement?

Yeah.. I might give them a call after my exams are over. Will they replace the whole lid, or just the LCD?

The LCD. But it's annoying how this happens. I mean jesus christ, is it that hard to make a 100% sealed unit LCD?

Well.. It cant be 100% sealed. Then they wouldnt be able to change it if anything went wrong.

So I will be stuck with my old lid and screen?

No it can be. The plexiglass and lcd are one unit, and it's sealed, just not enough. If they put glued the around the edges it wouldn't get any dust inside. If I remember what I saw correctly, it was taped or something on the edges where the glass and lcd game together, but only at certain points

But they will replace it as part of warranty for just one little grain of dust the size of a pixel?

It was more then a grain each time. It was always a botched near the top of the screen .sometimes they ask for photos of it.

I've been in the dust-capital of the world for the last 6 months and haven't had a single issue!
