Hey guys my m15x has a i7 720qm and run 1.6ghz. This isnt enough for me but i know you can overclock it. I saw a post where i would need to donate and I have no funds right now. My i7 has turbo though is there anyway I can turn turbo always on and always have 2.4ghz? Really any Tutorial on how to increase my ghz would be great thanks, Jake

SetFSB is the only way. To get a copy it's only $10 USD... that's not much.

You will. The only other option is invest in a better CPU.

No, turbo only works as long as the CPU is under it's 45w TDP. Once its power usage hits that mark, turbo is disabled. Adjusting the TDP settings is only possible with the XM line of chips.

Fsb doesnt work for everybody, it never worked for me, and the increase was minimal in my view. Your 720 running @ 2.4ghz is only using 2 core and not 4, if your looking for a cpu that will run at that speed without using quad core than u can swap to an i5 cpu. Maybe someone would be willing to trade with you
