Hi. I've been suspecting for a while that something's not right with my computer since it seems to be terribly slow every now and then, I just ran a benchmark with PerformanceTest 7.0 and this where the results:

As you can see they're way below those of two other computers with almost the same specs (differences are highlighted):

Also the user experience index score for the processor droped from 7.1 yesterday to 4.4 after I installed the new NVIDIA drivers, I'm assuming that's because the core speed is stuck at 931 +- .5 MHz, as you can see in CPU-Z and it won't go up no matter what, not even during the benchmarking did it go up... What's that multiplier thing (12.0X) and why don't I have it even if CPU-Z says I have a x 7.0 one?

Any ideas on why on earth this is happening or how to find out? T~T

looks like stealth mode is activated.... if not then repaste your cpu

I believe it's not activated... but just to make sure I tapped the "button" a couple of times and checked the core speed each time, it was the same. The cpu was repasted not so long ago so I don't think that's the problem x_x

Check to see whether EIST is disabled. Enter your BIOS (F2 at the boot screen), go to the Advanced Tab and check the setting for "Intel (R) Speedstep (tm)." It should be Enabled. When Disabled, your multipliers are locked at LFM, which is 7x (.933Ghz) on a 720QM.
