    hey all,

    looked everywhere and couldnt find this. anyone has optimal fan control setup for hwinfo? im talking about, custom auto option, all the temps and RPM table. would like to know the best numbers, considering both noise and heat.

    thanks

    Just use HWinfo64 and copy this into the ini file:
    OpenFanCtrlMin=1

    Also set it to start with windows. There is no real optimum RPM tables.
    I would use something like:
    40 degrees = 2500 or 2000 rpm
    50 degrees = 2500
    60 = 3500 or 4500
    70 = 4500

    Just make the decisions of how much fan noise you can tolerate.

    as fatboyslimerr said:
    whatever noise to cooling ratio you are happy with

    the gpu fan has a max rpm of 4800
    and the cpu fan has a max of 5100

    if you have heating issues you could try to let your fans reach the max rpm at an earlier temperature.

    but be carefull with hwinfo!!
    if you dont know what youre doing you might damage your beloved laptop
    i stopped using it.
    because i had to let it sit on my desktop just to keep running. also some issues with saving the new adjustments to fan speed would not save.

    You need to tick the "persistent driver" box in settings to save your settings. Fan control will only be active when fan control window is open.

    This would be the best setup. @fatboyslimerr Thanks for sharing the set-up!
