    Hi guys

This has happened about 4 or 5 times now and Im not sure whats up. I come back into the room and notice that the alienhead is morphing yellow/red,,, ie charging.

The laptop is always plugged into the mains and I have checked that all connections are tight. In any case it is charging so if it were a loosed connection that wouldnt be happening.

It is always at 97% when I have checked over the battery icon too??

There is no power cut either as the TV and the clock are all ok,, so I cant figure out how the machine is suddenly having a dip in power charge.

Is this the first signs of the battery about to die on me?? Its only a year old and like said Its never used or left unplugged ?????

It depends, some power management software actually keep battery not full all the time.

Try battery-care or some other battery software and check the wear level
