    Hey there everyone,

so I did a fresh installation on my new SeaGate Momentus XT. That went pretty well however, I can't seem to get my esata port to recognize my esata external drive and it won't connect to any of my bluetooth mice, it keeps timing out.

    Any ideas?

nah, I just used my good old disc that came with the machine.

I was able to resolve the esata thing, just needed to restart after installing the drivers.

I'm still having trouble pairing my razer orochi with my computer, which is odd because it will pair just up fine with my roommates. I still have my old harddrive, I haven't wiped it yet.

My guess is that the onboard memory thinks my bluetooth adapter must have a different MAC Address than it does now or something like that. Maybe if I put my old drive back in, then attempt to unpair it that will resolve the issue.

i had a similar issue with the orichi too. if i can remember right i think i ended up using the xps bluetooth driver for it. it was awhile back, i gave the orichi away to my cousin since it was a bit small for me and i never got used to the size.

for some reason the orichi is a pain to install, i had a microsoft 5300 and that mouse never had a problem connecting.

I solve this problem by doing 3 things, not sure which of th three really did the trick, possibly a combination of all three, but here it is

first I simply tried reinstalling the bluetooth driver but that didn't work.

then I synced up my Orochi with my friends laptop to try to reset the on board memory but that didn't work.
finally I synced up a different bluetooth mouse with my laptop, was a Kensington slimblade if anyone is interested in the model,

after all that, the next time I tried to sync my orochi with my M15x the two finally recognized each other, wasn't instant but they finally saw eye to eye.
