Is it possible to change the graphics card on the 880m or 780m?
And is it possible to change the processor to i7 3630qm/4700mq?
Will not be any problems with cooling?

I have AMD 6990m,but he warms himself , and as a result the laptop shuts down. I even tried to reduce the mhz to 600mhz.

The i7, only first gen (45 nm)

The temp, mostly due to bad TIM or something else. Yes you can have the 880m or 780m or 980m, that only wallet probs

The 6990M is a hot card but it shouldn't underclock like that I used to have one.

Best upgrade now is the 970M. Faster and MUCH cooler than the 880M.

CPU best upgrade is the 920xm or 940xm. Almost exactly the same chip so get whichever is cheapest.
