No, the card shouldn't be at 3d clocks while idling. And it runs very hot. Which drivers are you using?

I'm not very experienced with Nvidia cards, maybe someone else knows what's causing this.

You should check "Continue refreshing..." But also the 97C is rather hot. Maybe do a repaste.

Ah ok. Temps are too hot. First of all, what are your CPU temps?

Then open your system, remove the GPU fan and check whether there's a lot of dust blocking the vents.

With such high temps you probably need to repaste anyway, so get some thermal paste and alcohol for cleaning the heatsink and die and repaste your GPU.
If you haven't done this before, take a look at the guide in Inaps signature. Or if you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, call Dell (in case your system is still covered by warranty).

My CPU temps are about 50-55c but not idle , do you know whats the funny thing? I just receive my laptop back from dell because it was overheated and they change me 1 cpu and the fan system and obv they clean it why iam still having those GPU temperatures ?

As also a 260m user, that is way too high for a temp. You need to repaste. Mine with overclocked and playing most GPU intense game only reach mid 80s. Anyways i recommend MX-4 as i'm using it right now and no trouble whatsoever. Check out the repasting guide from Inap, i refer to it when i did mine. http://www.sendspace.com/file/09h9ef

Get the MX-4 here: Arctic Cooling MX-4 Super High Performance Non-Conductive Thermal Compound (4g) - FrozenCPU.com.

You will also find the ArctiClean Kit useful for removing old paste and preparing the surface for new paste if you're not sure what to use or where to get it. Regular isopropyl alcohol also works fine. ArctiClean 1 & 2 (Thermal Material Remover and Surface Purifier) - 60ml Kit - FrozenCPU.com.

Should you decide that new thermal pads are needed (which is likely), those are also available at FrozenCPU. EK Thermal Pad Sheet - 160mm x 155mm x 1mm - FrozenCPU.com. These are 1mm thick; also available in .5mm thickness. I don't know which size would best fit your card.

Inap's Thermal Paste Guide: Download THERMAL PASTE GUIDE.rar from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way (indispensable).

It's not hard, you can do it and you'll get a better result than you could get with 95% of the Dell techs. There's plenty of help here from people who have done it many times, but Inap's guide will eliminate the need. It has walked innumerable forum members through the repasting process. It's all you really need.

Never used it, but as far as I know it's pretty hard to apply (maybe I'm wrong). If you're repasting for the first time I really recommend getting MX-4 or MX-3 since it is really easy to apply and spreads very well.
