I had a video card driver question. I’m using a NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT 512MB with the m15x_VGA_NVIDIA_Vista_7.15.11.5655 driver off the Alienware page. I recently tried to use the 270.61-notebook-win7-winvista-32bit-international-whql driver off the Nvidia site, but for some reason my m15x does not like it at all. After blue screening once it finally loaded up but it no longer recognized my video card was installed. Once I went back to the old driver everything was fine. My DirectX is up to date as well. Does the new driver not work well with my computer or is there some trick to getting it to work correctly?

Sorry to inform you like tron your system in now considered legacy. But as far as the driver goes did you check to see if your card is supported in that driver?

Ah ok, sorry for posting in the wrong section. I used the Nvidia scan and that is the driver they suggested.
