One of them little stoppers that protects the screen came off last night as I was brushing away some dust bits off the machine.

Can I just use regular super-glue to re-stick it back in???

Just thought I would check first in case it caused any issues???

I used a double sided tape to do it

Double sided tape as recommended above or rubber cement. Don't use super glue -- you may have noticed screws hidden behind the stoppers, if the screen needs service the stoppers may have to be removed to access the screws.

Sorry are we on about the same part? The screen is attached to the lid on a separate part. I dont see how you would be anywhere near the stoppers to get to the screen?,,, Im on about the 2 little nubs that stick up from above the speakers aside the mouse pad,,, and I didnt see any screws under them either, and the part has a sheen underneath as tho it was held with a glue of some sort before.

With it being plastic ,, maybe a plastic cement might do,, such as the type that get used for plastic model kits ??

Oh, I thought you meant the rubber bumpers around the screen bezel. I don't have an Alienware, but if there are no screws underneath then I guess you can use whatever glue you like. I still wouldn't use super glue or plastic model kit cement though because these can melt the plastic a bit.

The one on the left on mine is coming off, sometimes sticks to the screen when I open up my computer, I end up playing with it lol, have been needing to stick it back in for the past 2 weeks now though, looks like a small amount of super glue would do the trick.

I would just use very carefully super glue. In the case you need a replacement part due to a damage on the system you can always e-mail us for pricing and info to [email protected]

I used super glue, many different brands and even epoxy resin, but it still kept falling out. this was the left-hand-side one, and then the right one fell out. It then came to me being worried about the screen getting scratched/warped, so I called Dell and they replaced the palmrest the next day.
