    Hey there!

Cant seem to get my head around this one...

The HDMI out works fine for my external screen, but when i plug it to my TV via the HDMI i just get a black screen on my laptop and tv saying no signal...tho it does recognize a connection has been made.

It used to work fine, randomly stopped...W7 is up to date and i even reinstalled the graphics driver. Also the HDMI/LCD function button doesnt do anything =/

    Help!

    Cheers in advance!

its probably out of range, try lowering the resolution of the hdmi output using the external monitor then try to connect it to the tv.

hmm, not sure then. if you lowered the resolution it should display on the tv. normally if it goes black it tends to be out of range, either the resolution or refresh rate is too high.

do you have access to another tv set?

sorry i can't think of anything else it could be :(

you said the hdmi/lcd button does nothing?
does it even come up with the "LCD" image?
mine's not connected to a tv set and it pops up. i can't change it to hdmi for obvious reasons.
