    today I was offered a Macbook Pro 13" 2011 and $175 for my Alienware m15x
    The spec comparison:

    Macbook Pro:
    2.3 ghZ Intel Core i5
    4gb 1333 mhz ddr3 ram
    intel hd gradphics 3000 384 mb
    OS X 10.8.4

    My laptop:
    SPECS
    Processor- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 820 @ 1.73GHz, 1730 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
    Graphics Card- NVIDIA GTX 260m-1 GB
    Memory- 6gb
    Hard Drive-500gb
    Software- Windows 7
    Screen- 15.6" LCD 1920x1080!!!
    Battery-9 Cell battery

    choices are simple, if you no longer play games and wish to part the alienware then do the trade/swap. if you don't use a mac for any reason simply sell the alienware and buy something else that you will use.

    Well I would like the Macbook pro, but would it work with like programming? I am taking a AP Computer Science course next year. I think I need the program Blue J and Java Oracle and all of that stuff, would it even work with the Macbook Pro?
