after being told by one dell rep that i was out of warranty, i decided to try and fix my CPU and GPU.
I opened it up and applied paste in the process i removed the Orange film surrounding the CPU and GPU.

now Ive been told i AM in warrenty and it getting collected in the next two days. Ive i dropped myself in it?

will they void the warrany? what can i do?

If everything is working fine, I doubt you would have voided your warranty.

Nope, unless there's evidence you purposefully broke it then they won't care.
