I just purchased a 210w adapter recommended in The M15x throttle final solution thread. However, when I follow the steps, I cann't ever get my GPU GTX 460m to the full 3d clock. What should I do? Thanks!

You sure you toggled the stealth mode off? The 460m is one of the originally supported gpus anyway there shouldn't be issues with it.

    Thanks King!

I boot up on 150W. Once booted I toggle stealth on and off again. Everything is fine. Then I switch to 210w, the stealth mode is always dark and the gpu-z always says: Bus Interface: PCI-E 1.1 x16 @ x16 1.1, no matter how many times I press the stealth mode. Even hit render nothing changes.

I am wondering if the computer cannot recognize the 210w adapter, and still think it is in battery mode. In battery mode is it possible to change to Bus Interface: PCI-E 2.0 x16 @ x16 2.0?

I even use Powermizer Switch, I still can't get 3d clock with 210w adapter :(

The answer is very simple. Boot up on the 210w not the 150w and then toggle the stealth mode. If you do what you do stealth mode is not operational.

You only use the 150w when you want to charge and DON'T want to game. From boot up.

    Enjoy 3d clocks mate.

I still can't get 3d clocks after booting up on 210w, and toggling stealth mode is useless, dark all the time

Did you switch off completely and then boot on the 210w

Stealth mode should be toggleable. You must toggle it in and then off again then 3d clocks will work.

Perhaps switch off take battery out and then hold on button to drain all power. Try again with 210w when done.

Sorry I have tried many times but I can't still get the 3d clocks using the 210w. As always the stealth mode is dead when plugged with the 210w.

Have you removed the centre pin inside the tip of the connector? ( end that goes into laptop)
