    Help! Reloaded from Recovery Partition and now I cannot install AMD Catalyst Drivers

    I reloaded my computer to factory settings using the recovery partition.

    Now when I download the ATI Catalyst drivers I get an error message saying I do not have an ATI graphics card and i need to get the right drivers or its not functioning properly....

    please help

    Do not install over the existing driver. Remove it completly including ALL AMD/ATI software. Then install the newest version from AMDs site.

    64 Bit: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/c...4-bit_util.exe
    32 Bit: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/mobile/c...2-bit_util.exe

    Make sure you install the right version for your OS. Also, I know this is probably a given, but make sure you actually have an ATI card and not nVidia.

    Yeah I have the radeon 5850.... So right after I factory reload I should have uninstalled any AMD Drivers and software before downloading and running the latest Catalyst?
