    Hi guys,

I'm going to change my graphic card soon and I will do this for the first time, so I wanted to be sure to do everything right.

I readed everything I could find here on the forum, but I didn't saw anywhere information about how and where to put the thermal pasting on my new card.

I saw the video on youtube about how to acces the graphic card, but it stopped there. Same for Innap guide on Adobe. It don't show what do to with the new one.

Basicly now I'm sure I will be able to remove the my old graphic card, but I'm not sure what to do with the new one and where to put the thermal paste stuff.

Also, I wanted to be sure, that, after I will put my new card, the only thing I will have to do if opening the drivers I will have already downloaded from Dell website. Also, just to be sure, before removing my old card, I need to uninstall my old drivers?

    Thanks in advance all!

    Philippe

P.S. Still sorry about any errors. English isn't my mother tongue.

You should uninstall your old drivers, and download but not install your new ones. After you take out your old graphics card and replace it, then install the new drivers after you boot up your computer. That's what I did when upgrading my card and it worked out fine.

Current GTX 260m and I'm aiming at the GTX 460m. I know it's not the best one available, but I prefer Nvidia and I got a good price.

I will check for mx-4 thanks
