    Hi!
This sounds funny, but how can I use my Notebook in Bed? I'm Ill right now, so I want to play some games...
Is it ok, that I take a wooden board (which lays on my thigh) where my Notebook and Mouse is on it? I don't want that my Notebook runs to hot...
The wooden board is a little bit "spongy" and tilt a little bit left or right when I'm moving my feet, but that should be ok?

    thank you! :D

A lap tray might be better - they have a built-in cushion on the underside - but might not be big enough to provide space for a mouse. Just don't use the computer directly on the bedding as fluff will get sucked into the cooling system.

    Ok, thank you!
Maybe i can build something with pillows or an old blanket... But good to know, that the wooden board is no problem at all! :)

I use my M11X on my bed with a Coolermaster Notepal U2 with the fans removed. It is tall enough to provide clearance for the laptop's internal fan and is stable enough on the bed. The Notepal U2 is too small for the M15X, but the Notepal U3 fits the M15X perfectly. Then just use a thin hard cover book with a mousepad for the mouse. I have to admit that the Notepals are a bit on the pricey side though.

If you live near an Ikea, they have some cheap plastic notebook stands with cushions underneath. May want to give those a try.

Not only will fluff get sucked into the cooling system (clogging fins!), but, more acutely, airflow will be reduced and temperatures will skyrocket quickly. Clearance underneath is very important. You are on the right track.

BTW, U3 plus doing a great job to cool OC'ed 920XM and K4000M. I've never seen temps above 80 wlile gaming in pretty hot room (with bottom cover removed and stock fans speed).
