    just as the title stated,

i just wondering whether M15x board and chipset support the usage of mSATA?

because since we starting to got more mSATA SSDs available in market, it's quite tempting to use it if it's compatible...

what do u think? or maybe somebody used to make themself a "lab-rat" ? hehehe

No, i'm afraid not. Unless you can get some kind of SATA to mSATA caddy for the HDD slot.

what i mean is, mSATA is practically using mini PCI-e slot as the interface.., and our M15x has 2 mini PCI-e slot... mean i can plug any mSATA SSD there, it will able to fit without problem, but..,

my question is whether this slot is also supporting mSATA as well or only PCI-e...

if in case it only support PCI-e connectivity, then the SSD won't detected properly as storage drive (or maybe not detected at all)

No, it doesn't. They're the same shape, but very different electrically.
