Ok so I went to turn on my m15x it turned on for a split second everything light up and boom all the lights are off... I've tried it with and without the battery and to no avail it just won't start... Well plugged in the blue ring on the cord remains blue... And there are none of the error lights... Any ideas what the issue maybe? Thanks for the help.

***Welp it decided to start working again... hope this isn't a sign of a developing issue

To me it sounds like it can get serious. If you still have warranty I would call Dell and have them go thru it via remote and if they find anything wrong get it fixed or replaced.

When you boot up. Hit boot menu options I think f2. One of the options is system diagnostics tool. This tool was designed by dell and I have heard it is quite useful I finding any faulty component; be it memory or HDD or video card etc.

Unfortunately I'm out of warranty so I'm on my own if their is an issue :(
I'll give the system diagnostic a look though and if it finds an issue I'll cross my fingers and hope its a cheap fix... if such a thing exists with an alienware lol
