Hi guys! Been a lil' while. Hope you're all doing good.

ANYWAY. I've now been afflicted with this wretched "Plugged in, not charging" crap and despite going through every procedure suggested in other threads, the issue persists. The funny thing is... I've got another problem (which I've had since I bought the machine) that is going to conflict quite seriously. It's actually quite funny really, you see I'm a long standing victim of the "shut down = restart" thingy which is incredibly annoying to say the least. The only way I can properly turn my computer off is by removing the AC power before shutting it down. But seeing as I now have 8% battery remaining, I can't see it lasting much longer. I really love this machine but it's brought me no end of headaches over the last year and a half. Ah well. Just thought I'd share this with you folks. Laugh with me (it'll totally make me feel better...)!

Nah I'm out of warranty now. To be honest, I thought the amount of $$$ Dell wanted for an extended warranty was just absurd. Jokes on me, at least I'm laughing! The three year warranty should really come as standard if you ask me. When you pay so much for a system you deserve a little extra-special treatment. AH WELL!

    Daaaaaaamn yooouuuu Dell!
