    Hello guys!

After struggling for over a month because my laptop wasn't working properly (I got BSODs *over and over*), and after many pieces replaced it looks like the original problem disappeared.

The last tech that came into my house replaced both the mobo and the video card (I have a Nvidia GTX 260M). After he left, I noticed that the two "alien heads" (you know, the one that is on the laptop's lid and the one used for turning on the lappy) wouldn't illuminate at all until the desktop screen appeared and Windows was completely ready to use.

This is not exactly a big deal and I have no intention of calling Tech-Support because my experiences with them are nothing but a nightmare. So I would like to ask you guys if you can suggest me a solution. I have already tried the power drain trick, but it didn't work.

    Cheers,

You can try to do a clean reinstall of the system or of Command Center. It seems like drivers weren't installed correctly and something got really screwed up with Command Center.

have you tried a power drain?
remove the power and pull the battery out. hold the power button on the laptop for 30 seconds, reinsert the battery and boot.

OP said already tried the power drain. Never ran into this problem myself so I guessed it must be a bad driver/software install.

    Hi there!

After executing a clean installation of the command center, the problem disappeared.

    Thank you,
