    Hey guys

I installed the 5870M into my M15X and everything works (after downgrading VBios) however as soon as i start playing a 3d game, it works well for 20 seconds then it temporarily freezes, then black screen then it gets bak in the game and continues to do this. Max temperature i've seen is around 87c. Is this an overheating issue? I've tried both the 12.6 and 12.8 mobility catalyst drivers from AMD. Also when i alt tab during the freeze, it states drivers failed in notification area.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

the 5870 runs hot, i recommend buying some thermal pads for the vram too when you are doing the repaste.
