I have a slight problem that I can't seem to figure out. Every time I plug in my power adapter and turn on my laptop, it sits there with a black screen, even though everything is clearly on (blue lights, HDD and fan noise...etc).

To get around this, I noticed that if I turn on the laptop without the adapter plugged in, let it sit a few seconds, then plug in the power adapter everything is fine. I don't mind doing this forever, but I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue. I thought maybe the power adapter might be bad, but I can't fork out the money for the adapter yet.

    Any thoughts?

Basically what Inap posted. It does this when the Brightness is left at the lowest and you turn it on unplugged.

Just raise it next time you turn on without the adapter.
