    M15X Ribbon Cable Connector From Hinge Cover to MB - Part number ??

    I did not take enough care while pulling the hinge cover, and the result is that the latch connector (that connects to the area labeled CN2 on the small circuit board) pulled clean off and also took the end of the ribbon cable with it. The result is that the ribbon cable is still connected to the MB but has bare pins exposed on the other end. I cannot locate the latch connector, it went flying into shag carpet.

    Does anyone know what the part number(s) for the latch connector and cable are ?

    Yeah I tried that. After telling me to buy a new LCD (???) , I corrected them , whereas they then recommended I buy the Indicator cover (wrong again) for $99.00 (I can buy one for $15 if I needed one). So yeah, that didn't really work out.

    Again, I need the cable that runs from the motherboard to the CN2 connector on the underside of the indicator cover.
