    Hi,

Sorry if there is a better location for this, it seemed like some content moved from the other thread I found and I'm trying to solve this issue before tomorrow night.

last summer I bought an m15x with a 6970m (sapphire, according to a diag tool) in it.

It came with HWInfo (for fans) and another app that I do not remember for gpu clocking. The guy I bought it from had set up two profiles on it, one for videos, one for high gaming. I could use a keyboard shortcut to switch between the two.

I had some networking issues and for whatever reason I decided to forget it all and just reformat. I reinstalled Win7, downloaded all the drivers I could find from Dell (latest) and started piecing it back together.

1.) Does anyone know what app the GPU clock controlling tool I had before was? I looked at Trixx for overclocking, but thats not it.

2.) My video stutters unbearably so I'm assuming that is going to be driver related. I currently have the latest installed along with Evolved, but I don't know what driver to use. I've looked at dead forum links to old mobility mods from 2011... What are people using these days?

    Thanks!

    Hi bro .o/

For clock controlling try to use MSI After Burn, i use it for my GTX 765M .
About your driver, i really dont know what to do but i never use the last drivers they dont work properly, try to use old drivers they work better.
Let's wait to check if anyone knows anything more to help !

    cya bro!

    1. I've used Saphire Trix to OC my 7970M...
2, Latest driver is 14.12 and honestly if your'e stuttering is it due to temps? Check that.

That's like 2 years old driver. Just try the 14.12 Omega from AMD's site and everything would be even better :)
