    Hi everyone,

I was gonna buy thermal pad for my GTX 260M but i realized that thicknesses differ. Widely available one is 3w/km with 1mm thickness. So what do you think i should buy? is 1 mm thickness enough? What should be the thermal conductivity?

I've seen a lot of threads on thermal pad on GPU but none of them mentiones these, I think...

    Thanks,

I bought 1mm thermal pads by mistake instead of 0.5mm as I usually do. Has anybody tried those?

it depends on the pad, some are quite squishy and will compress easily to the 0.5

fujipoly premium 1.0mm comes to mind. (sort of a teracotta colour)

some are a little stiffer and may not compress as well.
