    I'm posting this here aswell, since the wtb subforum doesnt get many hits :p

    I'm looking for a 285M/4870M or 5870M (for a friends M17x R2),
    I have a M5950 / M6100 / 680M and 970M that i can offer for trade for one of the cards + money difference.

    Hoping to get someone that would like to upgrade and we can both be happy with the end result :)

    I am a long time member here, and i've done a fair bit of trading, so feel free to shot me an offer :D

    Why not put 680M in m17x r2? way better than 285M

    You do realize you can put that 680M in no problem right? Also don't look for those cards, they are so outdated and slow it's not even funny.

    Because she doesnt game at all, so putting in a 680M would be a complete overkill :)... just looking for something to replace her dead 4870M :)

    In truth it is a 280M flashed with a 285M vBIOS but it works fine with native fan control in m17x r1 and r2 (I tested)

    The 5850 wont work in M17x R2 :/... same distorted colours as with 970M/980M
