So my M15x R2 decided to just stop booting up.

If I plug in the PS and hit the power button, the only thing that happens is that the power button will light up blue and cycle in brightness up and down indefinitely with nothing else lighting up or powering on. This will continue until I unplug the laptop. (Holding the power button down while the blue light is cycling will not shut down the laptop)

Also, at one point in my attempts to power it on, the power button lit up and began cycling through all of the RGB colors for like five minutes (with nothing else powering on) before I unplugged it again.

The battery isn't charging when the PS is plugged in. When tested, one blue dot lights for about one second and shuts down.

I have tried two other Dell OEM Alienware power supplies (a 240w & a 330w) and have the same thing occur with all of them.

If I hit the power button with no adapter plugged in, nothing happens confirming that the battery is drained.

    Anyone seen this behavior before?

Never mind. I figured it out.

It just wanted the CMOS battery reset.
