No, you will still have a good service, don't worry.
The worst thing that can happen is that you will get offered an M14x/M17x R3 as a replacement!

Not at all. Dell is obligated to honor the type and duration of the warranty you selected. As stated, if worse comes to worst, you would be offered a replacement with comparable specifications.

Don't worry about it, and enjoy your new machine.

Actually I just started a thread about this asking kind of the same thing. My m15x broke within the replacement timeframe and they are going to replace it. They can't replace it with a m14x as it is not the same spec wise so by obligating I believe they are going to have to replace them with the m17x r3 because those are the closest. So i don't know yet what their going to do but I will post tomorrow what they do when I find out so you can have an idea if this ever happens to you.

Did you ever find out what they are replacing your m15x with? Ours in the office just crapped out on us.

The M17x R3 is its replacement. If they offer you a M14x, don't take it, it will be a downgrade.
