I am selling my M15x soon and I am going to restore the m15x like it came from the factory. Whats the best way to do that? I have both factory Cds. Im guessing the Windows 7 CD does not have the original drivers or Alienware themes on it? Does the resource DVD have all the themes drivers, promo software or does it have some diagnostic tests for the GPU CPU ect. Any help would be appreciated.

Whatever you do, DON'T install the Command Center from the ressource DVD, it may brick your AlienFX controller, see here:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m15x/502744-dell-announcement-m15x-owners-do-not-use-command-center-your-resource-dvd.html

I recommend reformatting the HDD, reinstall Windows and install the latest drivers.
This thread will give you all the information needed and also the links to the Alienware wallpapers and the information about how to restore the logon screen:

How about pressing F8 while booting and using the restore to factory state option ??? That would be easy to do (unless u've deleted the partition :D)

Not sure if that's a good idea in case the OP once updated his Command Center...
